Joblauncher is eQuest's standalone posting site. Use it to create and post jobs directly, without an ATS.
Signing in
Go to joblauncher.equest.com and sign in with the username and password from your eQuest admin or eQuest support.
Account Selector
If your company has more than one posting account and you have admin permissions, you may be asked which account to manage after you sign in. See Posting Accounts Overview.
Manage Jobs
This is the first page you see after signing in. It lists your active jobs. To see closed jobs too, set Show inactive jobs to Yes. From here you can work with existing jobs or create a new one.
To get back to Manage Jobs from anywhere, choose Manage Jobs in the user menu.
Editing a job
Click Edit to open the job's details, or click the arrow next to it for more options:
- Edit: opens the Job Details page
- Boards: opens the job's boards, where you can add boards, repost, or remove the job from a board
- Boards Data: opens the Board Specific Data page to change board-specific fields
- Preview: opens the final page, where you can manage scheduled postings
Reposting a job
Click Repost to remove the job from all its boards and send it again to the same boards.
Note: every repost counts as a new posting on each job board.
Click the arrow next to Repost for two choices:
- Repost: removes the job and reposts it unchanged, with the same details, boards and board data
- Edit and Repost: removes the job and lets you change the details, boards or board data before it goes back out
Removing a job from boards
- To remove it from all boards, click the red Delete button next to Edit and Repost.
- To remove it from one board, click the delete icon next to that board's expiration date.
Creating a new job
Click Create New Job on Manage Jobs, then follow these steps.
Step 1: Job Details
Fill in all required fields. Some of the key fields we send to the boards:
- Job Title
- Requisition Number: used by most boards as the job's unique ID
- Job Description
- Candidate Response URL: the page on your career site where candidates see the job and apply
Step 2: Select Destinations
Pick the job boards you want. These are the boards your eQuest admin has set up for you. The Summary of Job Board Actions on the right shows what will happen on each board (post, update, repost or delete).
Step 3: Board Specific Data
Some boards need extra details, or let you choose optional ones. Fill in any required fields and click Next. Not every board has these fields. See Board Specific Data Overview.
Step 4: Job Preview and Scheduler
- Scheduler: suggests the best day to post for the most candidates, based on a range of data. You can also schedule ahead, for example to queue jobs before a vacation. Click the arrow next to Increase Candidate Responses to collapse or expand it, and we'll remember your choice.
- Preview: scroll down, or click Jump to Preview, to check the job. To change anything, go back and edit the job. When it looks right, click Submit.
After you submit, you'll see a Thank You page and the job is queued for delivery to your boards.
