True Job Posting "Refreshing" Defined
A true job posting "refresh" means that the posted date at the job board is updated, so the job looks like it was recently posted to Jobseekers - the general idea behind the refresh is moving the job up in the search results to increase visibility on the board.
Limitations of the Job Board (Posting)
A true refresh generally cannot be achieved by simply updating a job within eQuest - refreshing in this sense requires a job to be closed and reposted.
Reposting a Job to Refresh It
Keep in mind that a repost will result in an additional transaction at the board as it's considered a new posting.
Updating vs Refreshing a Job
Updates to the job are supported by most job boards. This will allow you to update basic job elements like job title, description, etc. However, this is not a refresh as the posting date will remain the same and the jobs placement in the job board search results will generally not change.
